"Girlfriend, that means she’s into you!"
House is just too awesome, hahaha
i heard something amazing out of someone’s mouth and thought i’d share.
"don’t let your happiness come from someone else."
it just struck me as really peculiar because most of the time, when we’re happy, it’s because someone we know or love has done something good and that in turn makes us either happy for them or just happy in general, but there are also times when we are just happy for random reasons (e.g. seeing a cute picture of puppies, driving when it’s hot with the windows down, etc.) and this just made me think that if we rely on other people for our happiness, what happens we lose them?
does that mean that we’ll be sad because those people making us happy are now gone? or does it simply mean that we need to meet new people to be happy with?
part of me really agrees with this quote but then another part of me thinks of it as utter crap.
this is just some random rant that i’ve been thinking of for a little bit and just wanted to get it out of my head and maybe get some opinions from all of you… so what do you think?
"and I promise you, something good will come of it." - Benjamin Mee (We Bought a Zoo)
I love this quote and it is the best quote I have ever heard in all of my 20 years on this planet… it’s beautiful, it’s smart, it’s courageous… it just inspires people to attempt something they probably never would have done before, and especially the ‘20 seconds part’ of it. You don’t consider it a lot of time, and it really isn’t so it just gives you that extra boost to do whatever it is that you’re going to do.
It’s just amazing and I love the movie, but the scene where Matt Damon says this quote is my favourite part of the entire film.
"Y’know… sometimes all you need is 20 seconds of insane courage, just literally, 20 seconds of just embarrassing bravery and I promise you, something great will come of it."
It’s amazing… literally makes me happy to my core, there’s just no other way I can explain it.
'We bought a Zoo' is an exceptionally great film and I definitely recommend it to anyone out there.
I just heard this whilst watching Turkish TV from this Professor and it made me just stop thinking for a minute… I think I was kinda awestruck, but it was a great quote and I just thought I’d let others hear it.
